Site of Denver Pride, long a popular open green space for many locals, including a good many gays and lesbians. They catch some sunshine out on the lawns, gaze at the Rocky Mountains fom the pavillion, throw frisbees, picnic, cruise, jog, or relax with a good book on any nice day throughout the year, but especially in summertime. 

The Denver Botanic Gardens are located just beyond the park (1007 York St). Besides their beautiful gardens they present an annual summer concert series at the amphitheater at Chatfield Green (8500 Deer Creek Canyon Rd) in Littleton, with great views of the Colorado foothills.

The Rocky Mountaineers Motorcycle Club is the oldest gay organization in Colorado, (since 1968). A true motorcycle club, this social organization based on a common interest in motorcycling, wants club members to become friends and brothers, to share in the camaraderie while participating in all the events they sponsor.
