Catastrophic Theatre is an ensemble-based theatre company with a fiercely independent spirit that creates and performs new works of all sorts, including original music composed and performed by their orchestra. They bring together trained and untrained artists of all disciplines in collaboration with the Stages Repertory Theatre, Diverseworks Artspace, Barnevelder Movement/Arts Complex and the University of Houston School of Theatre & Dance.  Five plays, never before performed for Houston audiences were produced in this inaugural season. Art League Houston:

This first alternative art space in Texas was founded in 1948, created to promote public appreciation of the visual arts. Since then they've provided over 750 exhibitions, showcasing the work of nearly 22,000 artists.
