The Midwest Bearpack, the longest-running existing Bear club in Indiana, provides members and friends with safe, fun and engaging social activities. Members come not only from Indianapolis, but also Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Michigan; even Florida and Hawaii.

Events include picnics, dinners, cookouts, movie nights, poker nights, casino trips, and campouts are in the works. The home bar is Gregs, with get-togethers every Wednesday for free pool from 7-8:30pm, with brunch some weekens at the Varsity. A July 4th cookout and fireworks, an August  Barbeque, and the big Midwest Bearfest, December 10-12 are some of the events they sponsor in 2010.

Pride of Indy Bands is a family of groups including a concert band, marching band, pep band, jazz ensemble, woodwind ensemble, and a brass ensemble, all comprised of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender people, and LGBT-friendly musicians. The group also boasts annual performances of over 20 concerts and special appearances at community events locally and in cities outside Indiana.
