Tivoli Cinema (4050 Pennsylvania Avenue)In Westport, the Tivoli Cinema screens art films of gay interest throughout the year. The Kansas City Repertory Theatre has interesting productions, and the Unicorn Theatre has fare that's always compelling, and frequently gay-tinged.
The Kansas City Cave Bears promote friendship and camaraderie for area gay men identifying as bears, cubs and their admirers. Events include bar and ice cream social nights, pool parties and a camping trip to the Cactus Canyon Campground in the Ozark mountains.
