Stahlstown Flax Scutching Festival

September 14-15, 2013, route 711, Stahlstown, PA. Demonstrations of the process of making linen from the flax plant. The festival site also offers homemade food, crafts, antique farm equipment, live music, a civil war encampment, a covered wagon train encampment and a staged Indian raid.
