March-June, 2013 spring/summer Sundays, Holy Mass at the Hofburg Chapel (Hofburgkapelle), the Imperial Palace and periodic Volksoper concerts feature boys' and men's choirs, and the State Opera orchestra. Four choirs, named for Bruckner, Haydn, Mozart and Schubert, divide time between tours, the Hofburgkapelle, concerts, performances, sound/film recordings, and special projects.

March 15, 2013, at 8:30pm, TQW / Hall E. Saburo Teshigawara / KARAS, new version. The European prémiere of one of the Japanese choreographer’s most important choreographies. The sound of Kenbai Taiko drums, the pounding of the heart, the sound of the wind, the musical poetry of Japanese poet Kenji Miyazawa (1896 – 1935), combined with modern western influences.

Early February, 2014, The Rose Ball, at Palais Auersperg, Auerspergstrasse 1. The annual queer party with anything-goes, dressed or undressed but always fabulous, tuxedos to gowns, never just casual, mocking yet mirroring the grand ball tradition of Vienna in a baroque palace; with DJs, thumping house music, divas and go-go boys dancing 'til dawn.

February 22, 2014 at Parkhotel Schönbrunn, Hietzinger Hauptstraße 10-14, from 9pm. A classical Viennese ball, in line with the city’s long dancing tradition. One of the most successful balls in Austria, with a reputation for being the GLBT high point of ball-season.
